Synopsis

I don't remember much about this series and I don't wish to watch it again either so I'll summarize it very briefly.

The series is broken up into 3 parts: the Man, the Ghost, the Fox. The first part, about the man, deals with Hugo Ng and Lily Chung.

Lily's father was the leader of Condor tribe. Lily was in love with Hugo but the bad guy from her tribe (played by Lok Ying Kwan) put a curse on the couple. So Lily was turned into a bird during nighttime, and she could only return to her human form during daytime. Hugo was turned into a horse during daytime, and he was able to return to his original self during nighttime. There was no way for the two to be together except for a certain time of the day, which was in dawn. During daytime, Lily would ride the Hugo horse and when it was nighttime, Hugo would carry the Lily bird and sometime before dawn, they would both be humans and reunite.

Jimmy appeared as a bad guy here but he died.

The 2nd part is about the fox, and Ng Wing Hung stars as the fox.

The 3rd part is about the ghost, starring Jimmy again as a good guy. He had a kung fu sister who liked him, played by Chan On Ying. But he had already fallen in love with another girl played by Chor Ka Po. They promised to marry each other but while he was away, a bad guy raped her. Out of shame, she committed suicide. When Jimmy came back, he found out that she was dead and was very sad. He sought for a way he could bring her back and he found a way to do so, but it would only last for 7 days. So she came back to him in a ghost form, and she had to leave him in 7 days because otherwise, her spirit will have nowhere to go and it will just decapitate. She told him why she killed herself, so he went after the guy who caused all this and killed him.

She didn't want to leave Jimmy like this and instead, she wanted to give him something. She spent her last night with him but when she left and he woke up, his kung fu sister (Chan On Ying) was lying next to him. Chor Ka Po had convinced Chan On Ying to conceive his child in place of her, since she couldn't do so because she was a ghost. Afterwards, Jimmy became a monk (more like a magician that does all the cool stuff really, but that was the definition of a 'monk' in this series). A few years later, Chan On Ying met him again at his temple and she was with his son. Jimmy pretended not to know them because since he was a monk now, he had nothing to do with what happened in the past, but he later came out from his temple and gave some toy to the little boy.

In the end, Jimmy gets killed off while fighting a bad magician.

This series sucked, dude. Why are they doing this to me!! =*( It had a decent cast but the plot was very weird and it just sucked, can't think of a better word for it. I don't even want to watch it again for the sake of writing a full summary. I am surprised I even remember this much.

Okay so it wasn't THAT bad, I've seen worse series.

There is a looooong adulterated scene between Chor Ka Po and Jimmy right before her ghost disappears, it's an X-rated stuff I tell ya.

Something interesting - Hugo and Lily are married in real life, wonder if they met on the set while filming for this series. Their eyes probably met and something 'sparked,' and they probably both thought, "Sigh- at least there is something good in the making of this stupid series." Okay, maybe not.
