He is the first prince of the Sui Dynasty, an heir to the throne to be precise. Although cheerful and goofy at times (which his wife condemns him for), he is determined to make things right for what would eventually be his reign, if things went right, that is. His love for younger brother Yeung Gwong essentially blinds him from seeing what evil lies underneath.

After being accused of driving his wife to suicide, he is stripped of his throne. His parents were not too happy with him to begin with. When he finally figures out what Gwong is up to, he tries to fight him off. Once again, he is too nice to kill his own brother, and in turn, is killed by Gwong instead.
