Lawrence Ng Kai Wah

He is the second prince of the Sui Dynasty, younger brother to Yeung Yung, and older brother to Lan Ling. He acts charitable and filial in front of his parents, but in reality, he has plans to overtake his nation. He would not hesitate to go as far as killing his family. He manipulates Yung's devotion to him and Lan Ling's sisterly love and respect. He causes the death of his parents and literally backstabs (or a front stab) Yung.

After he becomes the Emperor, people suffer so much under his regime that it gives the Lee's the greater motivation to overthrow him. The infamous "Grand Canal" is actually built during Yeung Gwong's rule.
