Jimmy Au Sui Wai Not much background is given on this character, except that he is a nephew of a famous general and that he is proficient in military tactics. He knows Cheung Sam Long from their past interactions. He cares a great deal about saving the nation and its people, and often makes righteous moves even if it means putting his life at risk. While assisting Prince Yeung Yung, he finds the wrongdoings of Lord Yeung Sau and tries to stand up to him, wounding up in great danger unknowingly. He is saved by Cheung Chut Chun, a lady residing in Yeung Sau's house who thought highly of him. With her aid, he escapes safely and vows to marry the girl. He also becomes the sworn brother of Cheung Sam Long. The trio -Sam Long, Lee Jing, and Chut Chun- is then known as "fung chun sam hup." He also acts as a spy against Lee Mut later on, after finding out what evil deeds he is up to. Because his marriage to Chut Chun takes place so quickly, their relationship is put into test under some occasions. The major one is when he inadvertently holds a brief fling with Chun Wei Leung, the former Chun princess. The other one is when he misunderstands his wife for having an affair with Sam Long and wastes himself away. Through these situations, the couple stays strong, helps Sam Long and later, Lee Sai Mun, to secure the nation. |
